Final piece for a college project revolving around museums & collections. As part of our research, we visited Bexhill Museum and sketched/took photos of the collections they had there. It was a really fascinating place - there was a lot of Victorian taxidermy and some preserved sea creatures (as you can see from the spider crab above.)

They are equally hilarious and frustrating and definitely worth checking out! My concept is almost the reverse of hers - I wanted to take objects from the museum which were useless and irrelevant to everyday life and give them a practical purpose.
